Music Review of bangistan

Lots is expected because the music is by Ram Sampath who is one of my favourite music composers.

Maula- This song is a really nice sufi song and it will surely gel well with fans of sufi music and I really liked it. Lyrics are also good and Ram Sampath has sung it well and it is a good song about god. There is a great use of Tabla and that is really good to see. Surely a worth listen.

Meri Zidd- The song starts off with a lovely piano piece and then the song becomes a masterpiece and the singer has done an excellent job and after that enters the shock. A fast rock drum piece comes an becomes a rock song. Ram Sampath at his best here. He just loves making experimental music and this is an example of it. Great song.

Hogi Kranti- The song starts with off like a nursery rhyme song and the song is a great fusion of mann main vishwas and Celtic-music and that is amazing. The song does not have good lyrics but the song is really good. I am addicted to it.

Is duniya se ladna hai-  The song starts off with like a Ganpati music then goes into full rock and may not be impressive as the previous songs but a good listen after all but one can easily skip it. Nothing special just a number that will be understood better when the film releases.

Saturday Night- The song is just a party song but not a typical one and it is one with ram sampath touches that make it a listenable song and not an annoying one. A good party number after some time.

Ishq karenge- This song looks really good visually but not when you hear it. It is the only weakling of the album and one can easily give it a skip.

Another very experimental album by Ram Sampath. His Delhi Belly was one of the best albums and this almost reaches to that level.

My picks- Hogi Kranti, Maula, meri Zidd

Rating- 3.5 out of 5 stars
